Abstract Implant therapy is a commonly based method of replacing missing teeth. A range physical, chemical, and biological modifications have been applied to the surface titanium implants improve their performance osseointegration outcomes. characteristics play an important function in several peri-implant cellular molecular mechanisms. Clinicians are placing dental with various roughness including plasma-sprayed, acid-etched, blasted, oxidized, hydroxyapatite-coated, or combinations these procedures. Surface facilitate early ensure long-term bone-to-implant contact without substantial marginal bone loss can be accomplished. It apparent that different beneficial effects, it essential consider at what time point conditions effects occur. This article reviews existing modification technologies mainstream correlation between implant coatings anti-bacterial ability needs evaluated.
